    I am not sure why it is recommended that you do not use audio throughout the course. Of course some of this will depend on the content and approach of the course, but if you have audio on most pages and not others, users can become confused.

    For example, I have a course that has two characters that go through a game show situation to ask questions and present information and feedback. I can’t imagine not having audio on each page and think that users would wonder if the audio was not working. Not having audio on some pages would mean that the characters did not speak, which would not make sense in the design of the course.
