Creating Interactive Assessments in Articulate Storyline - How to Remove an Initial Value (0) from a Numeric Entry Field?

Create a numeric field

But by default, the value “0” appears in the box.

default value

In this blog I would like to explain how we could remove an initial value (0) from a numeric entry field. Let’s see the steps we followed to implement this feature.

Step 2

When we insert the numeric entry field, one trigger will appear by default as shown in the screen below.

Step 2

Step 3:

Then open the trigger wizard for that numeric field by double clicking on that default trigger.

Step 3

Step 3

Step 4:

Now assign the text variable that we created previously (“abc ”) to the numeric entry field.

Step 4

Step5:

Now publish your file and the final output is:

Step 5

As we follow the step 3 and step 4 we can remove an initial value (0) from a numeric entry field.
