In my eight years of eLearning production experience, working with various clients and different tools, I think Adobe Flash still rules the e-learning course development space.
- In 2008, for the first time, we started working with tools other than Flash and HTML, i.e. Lectora.
- In 2009, we developed several courses using Lectora and started working with Captivate.
- In 2010, we added Articulate to our eLearning tool kit.
- In 2011, we worked with various authoring tools such as Articulate, Lectora, Indesign and Illustrator. However, the most popular authoring tool with our clients and our production team has been Flash because of its highly interactive and engaging e-learning experience.
