We have noticed that these interactions require some amount of customization depending on the courses and their content. Here, I have compiled a list of common settings that can be customized for each of the above interactions. This may provide you with ideas when you get your next eLearning course developed.

1. Using Player Properties in Articulate Engage 13

Engage Interactions have fixed dimensions – Width 720 pixels and Height 540 pixels. Articulate engage enables the customization of Engage. In addition to predefined color schemes, you can also customize the Player through your own color schemes. You can also easily change the page background colors, player font styles, browser settings and features.

The interaction properties dialog box provides you with features and options to customize your interactions. You can specify preferences for playback options, colors, effects and quality.

Playback: This option freely navigates in any order.

Colors and Effects: Interaction Properties in Engage ’13 has Colors and Effects Section, which can be used to change default settings and create customized interface in terms of colors and effects for the interaction.

Quality: This is default setting. It uses a video quality, audio bitrate and image quality.

3. Using Previewing and Publishing an Interaction in Articulate Engage 13

Preview provides an easy option to see the changes without publishing it. In Articulate studio13, you can choose to publish to HTML 5 and iPad also. Additionally, you can also publish to articulate presenter, web, articulate online, CD and Word. It supports publishing interactions to LMS, which is a very important feature.
