Is it possible to change the text properties in the course at a time in Captivate 7?

Yes it’s easy to change the properties of the text at a time in Captivate 7 by following simple steps. For example, you want to change the text in Arial font with color (#222222) to Myriad Pro with font color (Black). It’s difficult to change the text for every text caption by selecting and changing text character properties.

But by following the below steps it’s easy for the developer to decide what the changes he wants to make for the text or font.

Steps to follow:

  • Select the text and change the properties
  • Replace the changes
  • Save the changes

Select the text caption in the course.

 Go to the properties window. Change the properties in the Format drop down like align text to left, top in the text caption. Spacing 1 or 1.5. Margins space providing to the text before, after, top or bottom.

Go to the Character drop down. Select the font from the font family, select the style, size, format and color from the color palate.

Replace the changes

After changing the properties in the character drop down. Check mark the Replace modified styles check box.

Save the changes

And click on the option save changes to the existing style.

You can find the pop up window is opened. Click on the OK button.

You can see that the properties of the text in the course are modified, as desired.

Earlier text was in Arial font. Now its font is changed to Myriad pro, by modifying only one text caption.
