Adobe Captivate 8 is the latest version of the widely used rapid authoring tool, Adobe Captivate. It has a user-friendly interface that is simple and allows you to work without any hassles. I really enjoy working with Adobe Captivate 8.
Here, in this blog, I am going to explain the features of this latest version.
The Welcome screen has six options with thumbnails. By using these options, you can create projects by selecting the options that match your requirement.
Before selecting the option, assign the dimentions for your selected template. The option is placed below on the left side. From the drop down, select the default sizes of the project or else we can select our own dimentions in the custom option.
We have one more view to access the project type. Go to the file Menu. Select new project from the dropdown list and select the project type.
Recent tab
You can access recently used projects displayed in thumbnail or you can browse the recent project by clicking on browse button. All .cptx files, which you have opened recently, will appear in the Recent tab.
Below is the screen shot to show another option. Go to the file Menu. Select Open recent from the dropdown list. You can see all the projects on which you have worked recently.
On the right side, you can see the sample project toturials icon. It has several sample projects(default). By accessing them, you can learn and have project related tutorials that provide information on the features and functionalities in Captivate.
In my next blog, I will be talking about the library, properties and timeline in Adobe Captivate 8.
