Making Learning More Explorative

Written By

Adults prefer a self-directed process for learning. They prefer to learn through examples and address problems through interactive exercises, instead of being passive recipients of information, where they have no control over course navigation. The self-directed learning process enables them to set priorities and choose instructional materials or modules in a manner most preferable to them.

Therefore, eLearning for adults should be more explorative and collaborative, where they can discover knowledge, instead of the knowledge being administered to them.
