Although the text book definition for LMS says it is a software application that is used to plan, deliver, publish and place self-paced online courses; it does far more than that. It helps in implementing a learning culture in your organization which in turn helps increase knowledge, competence and performance of your employees. This is facilitated by LMS as it helps simplify learning processes, is used to assign the employees the training they need, and facilitates in providing quick feedbacks and generates reports.
For more information on how each of the above mentioned criteria help in creating a learning culture, check out the Infographic Benefits of LMS to Implement Learning Culture in an Organization.
