In Articulate Storyline, markers provide a quick and easy way to add a hover-and-reveal or click-and-reveal effect to your course. If we want to make static content into something interactive so that the learners can explore themselves, including markers is the way to get this done. A marker consists of text, images, audio, and video.
We have seen many audios for different types of interactivities. We can even insert audios for Markers in Articulate Storyline.
Here are the steps to follow to insert the audio in markers:
Step 1: First, we have to insert the markers in the slide. Click on the insert tab from the menu bar and then click on the markers dropdown arrow. Different types of markers are displayed. We can select the type of marker we need as shown in the screenshot below.
Step 2: Now that you’ve inserted a marker on your slide, select the marker and then click on the Format tab from the menu bar and then click on the sound dropdown arrow. From the many options that get displayed, we can select the option sound from file. Next, a window where the audio file is present will open. Select that audio and click on the open button as shown in the screen shots below.
Step 3: With the marker still selected, click the Format tab from the menu bar and select the option Audio Only.
Step 4: The last step is to preview the screen; click the marker and listen to the audio.
This is the easiest way to insert audio for markers in Articulate Storyline. I hope this blog will help you.
