Have you ever tried translating the text on GUI buttons? If you haven’t, then let me tell you that it’s quite an easy task with Articulate Storyline. The inbuilt option in the player properties to customize the default text makes it so easy.
In this blog, we will see a very simple and useful option in the player settings.
Step 1: Click the Player button in the Home tab.
Step 2: In Custom, click Text Labels.
Step 3: You can see a list, categorized into Buttons/ Messages and Custom text.
Buttons/ Messages: Contains all the buttons and pop-ups of the default GUI.
Custom text: Contains the text that appears on the respective button and pop-up of the default GUI. Here, I will show how to change or translate the text on menu tab. Click the label and type the desired text.
Step 4: Click Update preview and then OK.
Preview your project to see the edited text.
In the same way, you can change the text on default player buttons, feedback messages and quiz reviews. I hope this was helpful. Please share your thoughts.
