Avoid Popups in Chrome Browser by Adding JavaScript Code

Have you developed a course in Articulate Storyline?

Did you add a JavaScript code to the course?

Are you facing problems while opening the course in a Chrome browser?

Many a time, developers are confronted with this problem. When they open the course in a Chrome browser, the popup shown below appears.

How can you avoid this problem? Well, you need to follow the steps given below.

Step 1: Open Storyline and a new page or open the course to the slide you want to add the JavaScript code to.

Step 2: Publish the course once you add the JavaScript code.

Step 3: Open the course in a Chrome browser.

Step 4: Now open the Google page (www.google.com) and type “global setting” in the search field.

Step 5: From the result screen, select “Global Security Settings panel – Adobe (settings_manager04.html)”.

Step 6: Now select the “Always allow” radio button from the Global Security Settings panel and refresh the page.

Step 7: Finally, open your course in Chrome and check.

After applying these steps, when you launch the course in Chrome, you will avoid the java warning message.
