The menu of an e-learning course lists the titles of all the slides. It enables the learner to navigate to the slide of his choice. In an eLearning course, you can present the menu in different ways. In today’s blog, I am going to show you how to present the menu in a drop-down format. When the user clicks on the menu the drop down will appear like animation.
Here are the steps involved.
Step 1: Create normal slides of the course. After developing the slides, go to the master slide and insert the menu drop-down icon.
Step 2: Insert a new layer Menu items in the master slide and insert menu items. Add animation to the shapes to be appearing in the order of the slides.
Step 3: Add the trigger show layer Menu items when the user clicks the drop-down icon.
Step 4: Add the following triggers to each menu item.
Trigger 1: Hide this layer when the user clicks the menu item.
Trigger 2: Jump to the respective slide when the user clicks on the menu item.
Preview or publish the course and see the output.
This way, we can do the master slide menu animation in Articulate Storyline. Hope you find this blog informative. Please share your thoughts.
