There is a famous ancient parable about six blind men who had no idea what an elephant was. They try to come to an understanding by touching it because they couldn’t see it. However, each of them could understand only a tiny portion of the reality of an elephant. The blind man who touched the trunk felt that an elephant was like a pipe, another who felt its broad side thought that it was like a wall and so on. The same goes for eLearning.
eLearning is used very extensively today in organizations for their training and learning requirements. But, people have different understanding about eLearning. For some, its technology of course; it’s all about animations and interactions; it’s a website. So, according to you, what is the real definition of e-learning?
