This younger generation or the Gen Y is accustomed to using social media tools to communicate, share and learn from each other. People belonging to this generation want instant results and love to access information in the form of videos, engaging content, games and use Facebook, Twitter etc. to stay connected.
Therefore it is very important for organizations to think of using social media environment to train the Gen Y staff, especially the sales personnel, who are always on the move. Organizations can update their sales team on new product launches, industry trends and do much more in a matter of few seconds.
