Performance is the result or output of an individual produced at the end of a day, a week, or a year. It is how much your employees produce in a given time, or how effective he or she is. So it is very important for organizations to understand what performance management is.
According to DR. Aubrey C. Daniels, the father of performance management, there are two critical elements of performance – one is behavior and the other is results. Performance management is all about managing them. This process is specifically designed to maximize employee performance to achieve organizational objectives as well as individual goals.
However, due to insufficient training given to managers in setting goals, identifying performance gaps, coaching, evaluating and sharing feedback may not help you in taking performance management on track.
So training your employees along with the managers on performance management can help achieve the performance goals and eLearning can be one best medium to deliver training on performance management.
