Gen-Y refers to the generation of people who are born after 1980. The proportion of Gen-Y employees in the American workforce is on the rise, as the number of retiring baby boomers is increasing with each passing year. A study by PricewaterhouseCoopers revealed that “screenagers” make up a quarter of the US working population. The Census Bureau estimates that by the end of 2015, millennials will constitute the largest group in the country.
